Property description: A four-story industrial/call center structure and a retail/office structure comprising approximately 350,000 square feet on 11 acres.  Located in close proximity to Interstates 10 and 12.
History: Originally constructed in 1934 with four major additions between 1940 and 1978, the project is located at the gateway to downtown Baton Rouge.  The project was once the worlds longest department store.
Redevelopment: During Hurricane Katrina, the property was remodeled to become FEMA’s headquarters for its relief efforts on the Gulf Coast.
Current status: ODI sold the building to an office user in 2005.[
